Drunk Bus Driver Accused Of Forcing Teen Boy To Perform Fellatio

Drunk Bus Driver Accused Of Forcing Teen Boy To Perform Fellatio

100916_TriMet_Driver_readingA part-time bus driver in Northern Ireland is in trouble for allegedly getting a teenager drunk then forcing him to perform oral sex.

40-year-old Michael Patrick Doherty has been charged with sexually assaulting the 15-year-old boy over the weekend. According to court documents, the teen was hanging out with a few friends when he went over to Doherty’s ex-girlfriend’s house to borrow a cigarette.

When he got there, Doherty was waiting at the house. The two began doing shots of Jagermeister together. After three or four shots, Doherty’s ex-girlfriend became “concerned” about the teen getting too drunk and he soon left.

Later that evening, Doherty and the teen met up again. The bus driver was described as being “very drunk and acting very aggressive.” He allegedly threatened to rape the 15-year-old, then unzipped his pants, grabbed the kid by the hair, and shoved his penis into the teen’s mouth.

During a police interview, Doherty told authorities he had “no recollection” of the incident. He was released on a £1,000 bail and has been ordered by a judge to relocate to London until December 4, when a trial will begin. He was also ordered to avoid any contact with the teen, to limit his alcohol consumption to only one day per week and to please refrain from sexually assaulting anyone else.

The pilot episode sees Charlie sharing an unsettling sexual encounter while his friend Jacob (Daniel K. Isaac) reminisces over his ex and his ex’s, uh, member.

Elton John Speaks Out Against Russia's 'Gay Propaganda' Law At St. Petersburg Concert

Elton John Speaks Out Against Russia's 'Gay Propaganda' Law At St. Petersburg Concert
Elton John spoke out against Russia’s controversial “gay propaganda” legislation during a performance in St. Petersburg this week.

The legendary superstar, 62, pointed to St. Petersburg’s removal of a memorial to Apple Inc. founder Steve Jobs after Jobs’ successor, Tim Cook, came out as gay.

“How dignified that St. Petersburg should erect a memorial to Steve Jobs, the remarkable founder of Apple,” John told the crowd in his speech, the text of which appeared on his Facebook page. “But last week it was labeled ‘homosexual propaganda’ and taken down!”

He went on to note:

Can this be true? Steve’s memory is re-written because his successor at Apple, Tim Cook, is gay?! Does that also make iPads gay propaganda?! Is Tchaikovsky’s beautiful music “sexually perverting”?!

As a gay man, I’ve always felt so welcome here in Russia. Stories of Russian fans — men and women who fell in love dancing to “Nikita” or their kids who sing along to “Circle of Life” — mean the world to me.

“If I’m not honest about who I am, I couldn’t write this music,” he then added. “It’s not gay propaganda. It’s how I express life. If we start punishing people for that, the world will lose its humanity.”

It isn’t the first time that John has come out in defense of Russia’s lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community. In 2013, he told a Moscow audience that he was “sad to learn” about the anti-gay law, which bans what it calls “homosexual propaganda” to minors, Interfax and AFP reported at the time.

Madonna, Lady Gaga and Cher are among the many other stars to have spoken out against the “gay propaganda” laws.

Sam Smith, Coldplay, Adele, Others to Re-Record 'Do They Know It's Christmas' for Ebola Relief

Sam Smith, Coldplay, Adele, Others to Re-Record 'Do They Know It's Christmas' for Ebola Relief

Christmas

Bob Geldof is getting the Band Aid back together again. In a press conference on Monday, Geldof and Midge Ure announced that the iconic (and some say annoying) charity hit “Do They Know It’s Christmas” will be re-recorded to raise funds to fight ebola, with new artists like Sam Smith, Ed Sheeran, One Direction, and Adele joining megabands like Coldplay and U2 (who were on the original 1984 recording). The lyrics of the song will be slightly adjusted to reflect the situation of ebola rather than famine, which was their original cause celeb.

Screen Shot 2014-11-11 at 5.35.03 PMGeldof said that the new group, named Band Aid 30 in honor of the 30th anniversary of the first recording, was inspired not by nostalgia but by the United Nations. “Three weeks ago I got a call from the UN saying they required a 20% increase across the board [in funding to fight ebola],” said Geldof, known as much for being a humanitarian and a musician. “They are very concerned about the situation in west Africa.”

Geldof will gather all the artists in a London studio this weekend with an online release next Monday. This marks the fourth time the song will be recorded to help a humanitarian cause, the last effort being in 2004 with a hip hop-oriented cover to raise money for war torn Darfur. Geldof also mentioned that he had contacted Quincy Jones to see about enlisting American artists to help. Can a “We Are The World“-redux be next?
