Debbie Reynolds, who became a silver screen legend in films like Singin’ in the Rain, died Wednesday at the age of 84, after suffering a stroke.

Her passing comes just one day after the loss of her daughter, beloved actress and writer Carrie Fisher.

Reynolds was rushed to the hospital at around 1 p.m.

She was at her son Todd Fisher’s house in Beverly Hills, planning for her late daughter Carrie Fisher’s funeral, when she complained she wasn’t feeling well and someone called 911.

Yesterday, Reynolds was on Facebook reacting to Carrie’s death:

“Thank you to everyone who has embraced the gifts and talents of my beloved and amazing daughter,” Reynolds wrote. “I am grateful for your thoughts and prayers that are now guiding her to her next stop. Love Carries Mother”

Reynolds will be remembered for roles in Hollywood classics like Tammy and the Bachelor and The Unsinkable Molly Brown, which earned her an Oscar in 1964.

Her relationship with her daughter Carrie was the subject of Carrie’s semi-autobiographical novel Postcards from the Edge, which was later adapted for a film starring Meryl Streep and Shirley MacLaine.

Debbie is survived by her son Todd, who told TMZ, “She’s with Carrie.”

Here’s Debbie, singing un-dubbed (her singing was dubbed in the film release) in the 1952 film Singin’ in the Rain:

사람들은 누구나 옳은 일을 하고 싶어 한다. 그러나 옳은 일을 하고 싶어 하는 생각의 방향이 반드시 옳은 결과로 이어지는 건 아니다. 옳은 일을 하고 싶어 하는 생각의 방향이 경직된 사고에 갇혀버렸을 때 그 결과는 옳은 것과는 아무런 상관이 없이 변질된다.

Screen legend Debbie Reynolds(left), 84, was rushed to the hospital after suffering a medical emergency, which TMZ reports may be a stroke.

Debbie was at her son Todd Fisher’s house in Beverly Hills planning for her late daughter Carrie Fisher’s (right) funeral when she complained she wasn’t feeling well and someone called 911.

She was reportedly transported in fair to serious condition.

Just yesterday, Reynolds was on Facebook reacting to Carrie’s death:

“Thank you to everyone who has embraced the gifts and talents of my beloved and amazing daughter,” Reynolds wrote. “I am grateful for your thoughts and prayers that are now guiding her to her next stop. Love Carries Mother”

Thousands of people want the husband of the man who heckled Ivanka Trump to be fired from his job

Thousands of people want the husband of the man who heckled Ivanka Trump to be fired from his job

Thousands of irate internet trolls want a college professor fired from his job after his husband got into an altercation with de facto incoming-First lady Ivanka Trump on a JetBlue flight last week.

Matt Lasner is an award-winning writer and associate professor of urban studies and planning at Hunter College in New York. Over 7,500 people have signed a Change.org petition demanding he be fired after his husband, Dan Goldstein, went on a rant against President-elect Donald Trump’s policies as Ivanka waited for takeoff.

“Matt Lasner’s conduct is a direct representation of Hunter College,” the petition reads. “We believe his immature and cruel harassment of Ivanka Trump and her family at JFK airport should be met with disciplinary action.”

The petition continues: “The fact that someone who would be involved in such conduct is teaching students is very troubling. We are petitioning that Hunter College take ACTION. Someone like Mr. Lasner, who would harass a mother and her child simply trying to go about their day, does not deserve the honor of teaching.”

The petition was started by some dude named Brendan Bradley, a 24-year-old self-proclaimed “conservative political activist and analyst” and “atypical millennial” from Philadelphia. (Not to be confused with the actor Brendan Bradley, who seems like a really nice guy.)

Lasner tweeted about the incident, posting a photo with the message “Ivanka just before @JetBlue kicked us off our flight when a flt attendant overheard my husband expressing displeasure about flying w/ Trumps.” His Twitter account has since been suspended.

Hunter College has not responded to the petition or the incident. Honestly, we’re still trying to figure out what the hell Ivanka was doing on a budget airline in the first place.

Gay bobsledder Simon Dunn transforms himself into the ultimate Speedo Santa

Gay bobsledder Simon Dunn transforms himself into the ultimate Speedo Santa

simondunn

Openly gay bobsledder Simon Dunn clearly has a thing for Christmas, and it’s a sexy thing.

Last year, he generously shared footage of himself stripped down to his skivvies and dancing and lip-synching (awkwardly, perhaps) to Mariah Carey, as we breathlessly reported.

And, because traditions must go on, the former Australian bobsledder (who’s now a rugby player and living in Canada) is once again putting his own flesh-baring spin on Christmas, and we aren’t angry about it in the slightest.

Have you been NAUGHTY or NICE this year? ?: @christianscott

As Outsports reports, Dunn retired from bobsledding back in November, writing:

“The last few years have been a truly amazing experience. I’ve met some astonishing people and made memories I will cherish forever. For that I will always be grateful. I’ve felt a proudness in my own sexuality that I hadn’t felt in the 27 years prior. I’m finally comfortable in my own skin as a proud gay man.”
