Sam Smith Celebrates His Birthday By Sharing Some Of The Wisdom He’s Acquired In His 23 Years On Earth
Sam Smith has turned 23, everyone. And he’s decided to mark the occasion by publicly sharing some of the wisdom he’s acquired over the past two decades with his 3.8 million Instagram followers.
“Prepare yourself for dramatic speech,” Smith, who was born in 1992, prefaced his post yesterday. “I’ve only lived on this earth for 23 years and I have so much more to learn and so many more mistakes to make. But there is one thing I’ve learnt in my not so many years.”
What is that one thing, you ask?
“That is love is the most important thing in life,” Smith wrote.

The singer continued: “Surround yourself with family and friends and people who genuinely love you. I am so lucky and these past few years have been so amazing but also so challenging and I would definitely be in a world full of troubles right now if it wasn’t for … my family and friends who can’t be with me today.”
“Dramatic as fuck I know, but I thought I’d share my emotional but I hope wise words with y’all.”

Navy Plebes Top Greasy Obelisk In Annual Herndon Climb: VIDEO
Yesterday, the U.S. Naval Academy held its annual Herndon Monument Climb in which half-clothed Navy plebes attempt to a scale a greased up obelisk, known as the Herndon Monument, and land a cap atop its peak.

Get Ready for Hell: First Full Trailer For Ryan Murphy's 'Scream Queens' Drops – WATCH
The first full trailer for Scream Queens, Ryan Murphy’s latest foray into TV-land, is here and promises to be just as campy and ghoulish as you might hope.
According to Murphy, the series “opens in a flashback to 1995 at the sorority where something horrible happens. It’s a mystery that goes unsolved. Flash forward 20 years to today, and it looks like someone is out for revenge.” The show stars Emma Roberts, Jamie Lee Curtis, Lea Michele, Abigail Breslin, and Keke Palmer. Ariana Grande and Nick Jonas will guest-star in recurring roles.
The show hits airwaves on FOX this fall.

Cher rocks it and flaunts it. We find that pretty inspirational. Cher is the original … so sorry Lady Gaga.
2. She needs no last name.
For those wondering, she was born Cherilyn Sarkisian but professionally is known as Cher. Sting, Madonna, Drake, Pink and Bono also do this, but think about all the others. Not even Sir Paul goes without McCartney after it.
3. She tweets.
We mean it: She REALLY tweets. Profanity and all. We especially love that she has a sense of humor about it — and that she laughed off this preposterous suggestion:
