12 Things Couples Still Won't Do In Front Of Each Other (Even After Years Together)

12 Things Couples Still Won't Do In Front Of Each Other (Even After Years Together)

One of the best parts about being in a long-term relationship is getting to that point where you feel totally comfortable around each other. That said, there are some lines that shouldn’t be crossed, no matter how long you’ve been together.

Below are 12 habits that, in the interest of romance and privacy, are best kept on the D.L.

1. Going to the bathroom. Peeing is fine. Pooping? Not so much.

2. And while we’re on the subject, the same goes for farting.

3. Plucking ingrown hairs of the pubic variety.

4. Or bleaching/waxing any area where the sun don’t shine.

5. Putting on Spanx. It’s not a graceful process, OK?

6. Examining blackheads or popping pimples in a magnified mirror.

7. For the ladies, removing your ‘stache and/or stubborn chin hairs.

8. For the gents, scratching your balls.

9. Taking out your Invisalign. Because spit. Spit everywhere.

10. Inserting or removing a tampon.

11. Stepping on the scale. Ain’t nobody need to see that number but you.

12. Picking your nose. Actually it’s best not to do this at all, unless it’s with a tissue. In private.

If Instagram, Facebook And Snapchat Started Dating

If Instagram, Facebook And Snapchat Started Dating
You don’t want to go on a date with Instagram. Homegirl would be way too preoccupied with snapping photos of her food.

That’s a key takeaway in a playful new sketch by YouTuber Emma Blackery. In the clip, Blackery imagines what it would be like if websites — including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat and Tumblr — went on actual dates. Facebook can’t stop rambling on about people you may know, Snapchat has all of 10 seconds for you (typical) and Google+? Google+ is in severe need of some love.

Sounds about right.

Ryan Reynolds Sits Down With Mario Lopez For A Proper 'Deadpool' Interview: WATCH

Ryan Reynolds Sits Down With Mario Lopez For A Proper 'Deadpool' Interview: WATCH

Deadpool-mario-lopez-135418

There are some actors whose casting in certain roles makes it feel as if they were born to play them. Hugh Jackman was born to play Woverine and Chris Hemsworth was born to play Thor, but Ryan Reynolds? Ryan Reynolds was born to play Deadpool. Outside of superhero circles Deadpool isn’t exactly as big a name as any of the Avengers or the X-Men, but ever since word first began to spread that Fox was interested in producing a film centered around the ‘merc with a mouth,’ Reynolds has been most fans’ number one pick for the part.

After a widely panned (and horribly written) appearance as the character in X-Men Origins: Woverine and a much better received appearance as Deadpool in leaked test footage for a solo film, Reynolds finally signed on to play the character in his own film last year. The early promotional press for the super-flick has been promising, if vastly different from that of most big budget action movies. Reynolds’s latest interview with Extra isn’t the same fourth-wall breaking fanservice as his last but it definitely gives you an idea of just how our live action Wade Wilson is going to be wearing that iconic suit. (Hint: he wears it well.)

Trisha Paytas' Fierce Body-Positive Anthem Reclaims The Term 'Fat Chicks'

Trisha Paytas' Fierce Body-Positive Anthem Reclaims The Term 'Fat Chicks'
“All my fat chicks where you at?”

That’s what author and body-positive vlogger Trisha Paytas asks in her new song and music videoFat Chicks.” The video shows just how empowering life can be as a fat woman.

“All my fat chicks where you at? Now drop it low and shake that fat,” Paytas sings in the catchy chorus.

The 27-year-old preaches body-positivity throughout the entire song. Towards the middle of the video, Paytas slows the tempo and talks about why she embraces the label “fat.”

“Now I know, I know. Fat is a word used to negatively bring down the girls with a little extra junk in the trunk,” she says. “But being called ‘fat’ is just a label. A label put on to us by others who can’t handle all this wow, wow, wow. So I’ll take that label and wear it because it does not define me. You want to call me fat? Well, you’d be right. I am F-A-T: Fabulous and tasty.”

Paytas has received positive feedback about her fat-positive anthem from fans and media outlets. There’s nothing better than a catchy tune paired with some body love.

Go on with your bad, beautiful and fat self, Trisha.

Married Antigay Lawmaker Upholds ‘Traditional’ Marriage By Sexting With A Teenage College Freshman

Married Antigay Lawmaker Upholds ‘Traditional’ Marriage By Sexting With A Teenage College Freshman

Screen Shot 2015-05-14 at 11.37.34 AMWell what do you know, another champion of right-wing ‘family values’ turns out to be human just like the rest of us.

Missouri House Speaker John Diehl, whose campaign website boasts his belief in “personal responsibility,” has been not-so-secretly sexting with a 19-year-old college freshman who was part of the Missouri Capitol internship program.

Earlier this year, the state affiliate of the Family Research Council praised Diehl “for demonstrating moral leadership and true integrity in standing up for the sacred institution of marriage and the family values of the people of Missouri.” They added a special thanks for, “fighting to defend biblical marriage” after he filed an amicus brief in defense of the state’s anti-gay marriage amendment.”

Perhaps the ‘biblical marriage’ Diehl has so tirelessly been defending is the kind where men take multiple wives, because the married father of three certainly seems keen on the young lady.

In the texts, Diehl’s contact info goes from “John” to “Frank Underwood (sly half-smile emoji)” to “SOTMHOR,” and acronym for ‘Speaker of the Missouri House of Representatives.”

Here are some examples from the highly flirtatious communications:

Her: “You better take care of me.”

Diehl: “Like how?”

Her: “I’ll bet you’ll figure it out.”

Diehl: “I dunno. You have always been disappointed;)”

Her: “I just have high expectations, I guess. Thus far, you’ve done pretty well (an emoji blows a kiss)”

Diehl: “:). I kinda want to hear what you are expecting”

Then, shortly after, he types: “You will be in good hands :)”

At one point Diehl texts her “God I want you right now,” to which she replies “I wish you could have me right now.”

In another exchange, she sends a picture of herself in a bikini and Diehl responds: “Damn girl …”

“Nice”

Shortly after he writes: “I want to see more” followed by a smiling emoji.

Another exchange centered on Diehl texting that he was “Laying in bed looking at your pic :)”

She responded: “Mmmmm why can’t I be there :)”

These are the texts obtained by The Star:
