Scientists Discover Cells that Make Nipples Go Hard

Scientists trying to understand the biological processes behind involuntary human responses say they have been able to determine what makes a person’s nipples become hard.
Swedish researchers made the discovery while mapping out the various nerve cells that ferry messages around the body in times of emotional distress, such as when the “fight or flight” reaction takes hold and prepares us for imminent danger.
Another type of nerve that emerged from the study hooks up with hair follicles. When activated, the nerves contract tiny muscles around the hairs, making them stand up and produce goosebumps.
All together, the team found eight different types of nerve that carry messages for the sympathetic nervous system, the part of the body’s neural wiring that makes the heart race and the palms sweat in anxious moments, but which also produces goosebumps, constricted blood vessels and hard nipples in cold weather.
What it boils down to is that different nerves are used to wire different physical reactions. And bad nerve wiring could lead to someone responding to danger with erect nipples rather than, say, sweaty palms.
Said one researcher, “It’s the same challenge that an electrician faces when they wire up a house. If the wires all look the same, it’s going to be hard to wire them up correctly.”

Seth Meyers Takes a Closer Look at How Hillary and Trump Are Prepping for the Debates: WATCH

Seth Meyers dug into the preparation that both Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump are doing in the lead-up to the presidential debates.
Quoting The Washington Post, Meyers pointed out that Hillary is “methodically preparing for the presidential debates as a veteran lawyer would approach her biggest trial.” In other words, “just your laid-back classic Hillary.”
Meyers added, “Her prep sounds so intense I wouldn’t be surprised if she was hooked up to a bunch of computers with steroids being pumped into her veins like Ivan Drago.”
Trump, on the other hand, seems to have surrounded himself with an A Team. An A-hole team that is, made up of Rudy Giuliani, Roger Ailes and Steve Bannon. And yet despite Trump’s disdain for traditional debate prep, he will likely be able to get away without much preparation because, as Giuliani has pointed out, the bar is set so low for him.
Said Meyers, “Trump’s biggest advantage is how low the bar is currently set.Basically, as long as he doesn’t walk onstage, take a whiz on the side of the podium, and make up a story about how Hillary robbed him at gunpoint, he will exceed expectations.”
As for who will moderate the debates given that Trump has preemptively suggested that he likely wouldn’t get a fair shake from any moderators, Meyers doesn’t think the Commission on Presidential Debates should worry too much about finding someone Trump won’t object to. “The only way he won’t complain is if he gets to moderate the debate himself,” Meyers joked.

Trump Campaign CEO Steve Bannon Recorded Using Anti-Gay Slur: LISTEN

Donald Trump’s new ‘campaign CEO’ Steve Bannon once used an anti-gay slur to describe why progressives are baffled by conservative female politicos like Ann Coulter and her ilk.
In a 2011 interview, Bannon said that conservative women are denounced by the left because they aren’t a “bunch of dykes that cam from the Seven Sisters schools up in New England.”
The Seven Sisters schools are an association of prestigious liberal arts colleges that include Barnard College, Bryn Mawr College, Mount Holyoke College, Radcliffe College, Smith College, Vassar College, and Wellesley College.
Bannon made his remarks in a radio interview while promoting his movie, Fire From the Heartland: the Awakening of the Conservative Woman.
Citing women like Ann Coulter, Michele Bachmann, and Sarah Palin, Bannon said conservative women threaten the progressive narrative.
“And so these women cut to the heart of the progressive narrative,” he said on Political Vindication Radio while promoting his movie, Fire From the Heartland: the Awakening of the Conservative Woman.
“That’s why there are some unintended consequences of the women’s liberation movement. That, in fact, the women that would lead this country would be pro-family, they would have husbands, they would love their children. They wouldn’t be a bunch of dykes that came from the Seven Sisters schools up in New England. That drives the left insane and that’s why they hate these women,” he said.
Bannon also claimed that the progressive moment is built on victimhood and that gay people on the left use their “sexual preference” to claim that they’re victims:
“The progressive narrative Saturday morning was the progressive narrative and that is all about victimhood. They’re either a victim of race. They’re victim of their sexual preference. They’re a victim of gender. All about victimhood and the United States is the great oppressor, not the great liberator.”
DNC spokesperson TJ Hemlstetter responded in a statement, saying, “Donald Trump should absolutely disavow his campaign CEO’s anti-gay slurs. It shocks the conscience that a major party nominee in the 21st century would stand by someone who uses hate speech directed at gay men and women. Trump’s divisive rhetoric and embrace of individuals who condone discrimination – like his running mate who is one of the most anti-LGBT governors in the country – show he is unfit to be president of the United States.”
This news comes on the heels of reports that Bannon was accused of sexual harassment by a coworker in the 1990s. Via The NY Daily News:
[Margaret] Augustine, a former boss at the company [Biosphere 2], said that Bannon would talk about the size of women’s breasts and once grabbed her wrist while dancing and told her “that once I’d done it with him I’d never want to do it with anyone else,” according to Buzzfeed.
Biosphere’s billionaire backer Edward Bass was the principal defendant in Augustine’s suit, which also alleged libel, slander and breach of contract and was filed after she was removed from the company.

Couple Can’t Escape Homophobic Landlord From Hell Who Follows Them Everywhere
Olly McLellan, 32, and his partner Scott Cole, 30 (Source: Metro)
Crappy landlords. We’ve all had one or two over the course of our adult lives. It’s just the reality of being a renter. But chances are you’ve never had one quite like Olly McLellan and Scott Cole’s.
The couple just went public with their landlord horror story, which includes no shortage of nasty notes, passive aggressive parking insults, illegal trespassing, trash dumps, and harassment all garnished with a healthy serving of homophobia.
“His behavior was just shocking because homosexuality and same sex marriage is not unheard of anymore,” 32-year-old Olly tells Metro.

It all started back in January when the guys moved into a house owned by landlord Jason Gwillim. According to the couple, everything was fine at first. Until Gwillim learned that they were gay. That’s when he started blocking their driveway with his car and ignoring repairs.
“I’m not sure if the estate agents told him before we moved in that we were gay, they thought two guys were moving into a two-bed house,” Olly continues. “But it’s got nothing to do with him whether we’re just friends or in a relationship so long as we pay the rent on time.”
The situation quickly escalated. Olly says Gwillim began letting himself into the house when they weren’t home, and shouting homophobic slurs at them whenever he saw them.
“He was there all the time and was shouting abuse at us like ‘poofs’,” he recalls. “It was just a nightmare. We were scared to come home if he was there and to leave the house if he was outside.”
Olly says they started to feel like “prisoners.”
“It got to a point where we got home for work and saw him in the house,” he says. “We went and waited in a supermarket carpark until he had gone.”

When they tried reporting Gwillim to authorities, the men were told it was a civil matter and police could not intervene. Six months into their 12-month lease agreement, they finally reached their limit and moved out.
They found another house located more than ten miles away. But shortly after moving in, they returned home to find the following note:

Days later, piles of rotting trash and yard waste were dumped on their front doorstep.
While the couple isn’t sure Gwillim is behind these latest incidents, they still reported everything to police.
“Police are investigating following an incident at an address in Rickmansworth,” a spokesperson said. “It has been reported that a card containing an offensive message was delivered to an address and that bags of rubbish and grass trimmings were left outside the front door.”
All the men want is to live their lives in peace, but they fear that may never be possible.
“We spent seven months being so paranoid, from moving out of that house into a new one felt like we’d finally not have to worry,” Olly says. “But then to realize he’d found us and sent us more abuse was just unbelievable.”
“We didn’t think he would know where we live and now we’ve just been left worrying about when he’ll next attack us.”

Ann Coulter Gets Torn To Pieces At Rob Lowe’s Roast. Grab The Popcorn.

Repugnant. Hateful. Hatchet-faced.
That’s but a sample of the insults hurdled at sentient broomstick Ann Coulter during the course of Rob Lowe’s Comedy Central Roast — and those are just culled from Jimmy Carr’s routine. It gets way more vicious than that.

You may be wondering: What was the right-wing pundit and professional cringe merchant even doing there?
“I think the best daises are the daises that have people where you’re like what the (expletive)? You need every flavor to make these things go right and cut them all together for a show,” Lowe tells USA Today.
Ann Coulter’s reasoning? “I’m only here for all the love and respect I have for Rob Lowe and all of the talented performers tonight,” she said facetiously. “It has nothing to do with the book I published four days ago.”

Perhaps it was a brilliant strategical move on Lowe’s part, since Coulter’s presence effectively shifted the focus away from him, the expected jabs at his sex tape, nanny drama, and topsy-turvy career notwithstanding.
The phenomenon eventually inspired Coulter to say, “I’d like to welcome everyone to the Ann Coulter roast with Rob Lowe.”
Here are some of the most eviscerating highlights from The Roast of Rob Lowe, which airs on Labor Day on Comedy Central:
Comedian Jeff Ross, dressed as Prince:
Ann Coulter wants to help Trump make America great again. You can start by wearing a burka. You have a face that would make doves cry. That voice, it’s like fingernails on a chalkboard in an inner-city school you wanna defund. Ann’s against gay marriage. What’s your thinking on that? If I can’t get a husband they shouldn’t, either?”
Saturday Night Live’s Pete Davidson:
If you are here, Ann, who is scaring the crows away from our crops?”
Former NFL quarterback Peyton Manning:
I just realized that I’m not the only athlete up here tonight. As you all know, earlier this year Ann Coulter won the Kentucky Derby.”
Comedian Nikki Glaser:
Ann Coulter has written 11 books, 12 if you count Mein Kampf. Ann, you’re awful. The only person you will ever make happy is the Mexican who digs your grave.”
Comedian and Roast Master David Spade:
She seems stiff and conservative, but Ann gets wild in the sheets. Just ask the Klan. It looks like she’s having a good time. I haven’t seen her laugh this hard since Trayvon Martin got shot.”
Folk singer Jewel:
As a feminist I can’t support everything that’s been said tonight, but as someone who hates Ann Coulter, I’m delighted.”
