Who Cheers for the Cheerleader?

I can be your cheerleader, even on the days when I’m not quite sure who’s cheering for me.
….the one who puts the cute outfit on for you, the one with the hopeful heart, and probably a little too much faith in people. The sort who sees a little potential in someone and thinks, I can fix him!
I can remember the little things you tell me, notice the changes in your voice, and convince myself that if I just care enough, somehow it’ll make a difference.
There’s a side of me that needs to be someone’s favourite person, too. To have someone in my corner, with hearts in their eyes, cheering just as loudly for me as I’ve been cheering for them.
