Whitecaps again raise the flag as Pride week kicks off in style
The rainbow flag was raised at BC Place on Sunday by Vancouver Pride delegates, kicking off Vancouver Pride week. Dean Nelson, founder of Pride House at the 2010 Olympics, was out on the field to wave the flag and said he is thrilled the Whitecaps have come on board for the second year in a row to represent LGBT inclusion in sports.
