PHOTOS: Photographer Luis Movilla documents the beauty in male imperfections and homosexual desire
“I think the real beauty of human anatomy is in our defects and imperfections,” Spanish photographer Luis Movilla tells Queerty.

Movilla, who identifies as gay, lives and works in Tenerife, in Spain’s Canary Islands. Most of his models are guys he meets on Grindr or PlanetRomeo, as well as close friends. He only started taking pictures about two years ago, but he has quickly developed a photographer’s eye.
“I want to capture the beauty in all bodies–a retired male, a college student, a waiter, a chubby guy,” he says. “Ordinary people.”

He adds: “I want [my models] to feel comfortable and accepted. I want them to feel desired.”
