Must-See LGBTQ TV: Golden Globe Awards, Wanda Sykes on 'Lip Sync Battle' and more!

Grab the remote, set your DVR or queue up your streaming service of choice! GLAAD is bringing you the highlights in LGBTQ on TV this week. Check back every Sunday for up-to-date coverage in LGBTQ-inclusive programming on TV.

The Golden Globe Awards will air live on Sunday night on both coasts on NBC. Moonlight is up for six awards, including the coveted Best Motion Picture – Drama trophy. Out actress Sarah Paulson is nominated in Best Performance by an Actress in a Limited Series, bisexual actress Evan Rachel Wood is up for Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series – Drama, and out director and designer Tom Ford is also nominated in Best Director-Motion Picture and Best Screenplay – Motion Picture. Jeffrey Tambor is nominated in Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series – Musical or Comedy for his portrayal of Maura on Transparent. Other LGBTQ-inclusive projects including Transparent, Veep, Deadpool, This is Us, Game of Thrones, Mozart in the Jungle, and American Crime are also all up for awards. Golden Globe Awards: Sunday, 8pm/5pm on NBC.

Tuesday’s all new episode of This is Us will continue to further explore the relationship between William and Jesse, as well as how Randall deals with the revelation. This is Us: Tuesday, 9pm on NBC.

Out comedian and actress Wanda Sykes will star on Lip Sync Battle on Thursday, where she will face off against Don Cheadle. Lip Sync Battle: Thursday 10pm on Spike.
