#TurnOUT — JUST 18 DAYS UNTIL ELECTION DAY:

  • TODAY — Trump and McSally bring toxic, anti-LGBTQ agenda to Arizona: “McSally shows us every day that she’s more interested in taking orders from Trump than doing what’s right for Arizonans,” said HRC Arizona State Director Justin Unga. “From her votes to gut critical health care protections to kowtowing to Trump’s shameful ban on transgender service members, her agenda is not only wrong for Arizona, but politically toxic in a state with more than 800,000 Equality Voters.” More from HRC.
  • HRC on-the-ground across the country to #TurnOUT critical LGBTQ voting block: Stacey Abrams recently became the first major-party nominee for Georgia governor to participate in Atlanta Pride Parade: Said HRC President Chad Griffin (@ChadHGriffin). “When we turn out, we win elections.” More from Robyn Curnow (@RobynCurnowCNN) at CNN.
  • Trans equality is on the ballot in Massachusetts: Trans trailblazer Laverne Cox (@LaverneCox) and Griffin will be joining Yes on 3 and local parents and educators working to preserve critical non-discrimination protections for trans Bay Staters. More from INTO.
  • Beto O’Rourke on believing survivors and the #MeToo movement at last night’s Texas Town Hall: “I have been struck by the courage of these survivors coming forward… and we [must] ensure there are the necessary, thorough investigations that should follow serious allegations like those made by [Dr. Christine Blasey Ford].” Watch his full response here.
  • ICYMI — HRC mobilizing Equality Voters to elect Katie Porter to U.S. Congress (CA-45)

“We have this champion who, for her entire life, has fought for the equal dignity of all people. – @HRC President @ChadHGriffin
