HRC has released a new video detailing the harsh reality that everything we’ve fought for is on the line: LGBTQ worker protections, the repeal of “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell,” the Supreme Court, marriage equality, global LGBTQ equality, transgender equality, and more.
Don’t take our word for it, though. The video shows how Trump, in his own words, has threatened to roll back many of our gains if elected president.

Nickelodeon to Introduce Gay Married Couple for First Time in Animated Comedy ‘The Loud House’
Nickelodeon is set to introduce a gay married couple to viewers of its animated series The Loud House during Wednesday night’s broadcast.
The Loud House is about a family with eleven children, ten of them girls, and one 11-year-old boy named Lincoln, around whom the show centers.
In Wednesday’s show, Lincoln’s friend Clyde comes over for a sleepover, escorted by his two dads.

Worldwide Pokemania Crashes Servers, Raises Security Concerns
“Pokemon Go” has only been available for a week but the augmented reality game that allows smartphone users to catch cartoon Pokemon has already amassed more than 21 million active users. And that number is growing. Fast.
So is the server load, apparently.
On Saturday, Pokemon Go servers crashed across Europe and the United States, with the company saying in a statement that it had fielded an “incredible number” of downloads. It urged patience from its mobile app users. (A hacking group also claimed responsibility.)
Despite the issues and delays, the palpable feeling of Pokemania is hard to resist for many. So they play, anyway. For the love of Pikachu.

At a US anti-police brutality protest:
In South Korea, a country with significant security restrcitions on mapping data, Poke-heads have been flocking to Northern city of Sokcho, bordering Noth Korea. Sokcho has not been classified as a South Korean territory, and can therefore be mapped by Google maps, the GPS foundation of “Pokemon Go.” The city has taken to its elite status as a Pokemon destination, providing visitors with maps of free local Wi-Fi spots and hailing itself the “only Pokemon Go” holy land on the peninsula.”
As game developer Zach Gage told The Verge, “In an aggressively fractured world of headphones and podcasts and socially filtered news, it’s really exciting to see a piece of tech that makes the social space feel vast and whole again.”

Paul Ryan Selfie Goes Viral for Highlighting Spectacular Lack of Diversity Among GOP Interns
Paul Ryan shared this selfie to Instagram on Sunday and it got a lot of attention, but not for its “record number of #CapitolHill interns”. Take a quick survey of the crowd and you’ll see a sea of very white faces.
Just a few of the comments:
“Perhaps all the blacks are off camera on the far left?”
“This isn’t about presidential canidates (sic). This is about an internship program being entirely white in a place like Washington DC where 50.7% of the people are black. Its about unequal opportunity in the epicenter of our country. I find it atrocious.”
“This sums up the problem with the GOP. It’s like looking at 1950s America. I guess this is what making America Great Again looks like.”
