“Biggest Loser” Trainer Jillian Michaels Doesn’t Like Her “Gay Thing,” Would Like To Trade Her Wife For A Husband
Jillian Michaels, a personal trainer known for her appearances on ABC’s reality weight loss competition The Biggest Loser, identified herself as an extremely self-loathing lesbian or bisexual woman in an interview with Health magazine this week.
She told Ladies Home Journal in 2010 that she could fall in love with either a man or woman, but she has apparently chosen to settle down with a woman, her wife Heidi Rhoades, with whom she shares two children. She doesn’t seem to have any complaints about that, but oh just think of the way life could be without “the gay thing”!
“I don’t know that I am [comfortable talking about being gay] now to be honest with you,” she told Health. “The gay thing has always been hard for me.”
She added:
“When Heidi and I are out and somebody older asks, ‘Are you sisters?’ I say, ‘We’re friends.’ I guess it comes from thinking that they will be shocked or disturbed. Look, I wish I had some strapping football player husband. It would be such a dream to be ‘normal’ like that, but I’m just not.”
He’s no strapping football player, but if all else fails, we think Rupert Everett would marry her.

Thursday’s show did not disappoint in that regard, in an episode focusing on Jack Falahee’s gay law student Connor Walsh, which leads to this way-steamy-for-network-TV scene in an office copy room with Paxton, the intern to one of his professor’s clients.

Dita Von Teese Tells HuffPost Live 'I Am Not A Lesbian'
Burlesque superstar Dita Von Teese stopped by HuffPost Live on Friday and discussed everything from lingerie to sweat pants to her sexuality.
In the past Von Teese has been open about her sexual experiences with other women. For this reason, HuffPost Live asked the star during her interview if she identifies anywhere along the queer spectrum. Von Teese told HuffPost Live, “I feel like that’s something I experimented with when I was younger. I think knowing myself, I realized that it was something I was doing experimentally or because I thought it was cool. But I’m not a lesbian.”

Rome Mayor Registers 16 Gay Marriages in Defiance of Italian Law: VIDEO
Rome’s Mayor Ignazio Marino registered 16 gay marriages into city books today in defiance of Italian law, Bloomberg reports:
“Today is a special day that I hope will soon become a normal day,” Marino posted on his social media account along with pictures of himself wearing the mayor’s sash, posing with the smiling couples and their families inside Rome’s city hall. “How can you not call this love?” he asked in another post.
The move is controversial for a country that does not recognize same-sex unions of any kind. Interior Minister Angelino Alfano immediately responded through his own social media account, saying the mayor’s transcriptions weren’t valid.
“According to Italian law, this is not possible,” Alfano posted. “Marino’s signature can’t be a substitute for the law, all he did was give these very respectable couples his autograph.”

Marino had promised at the 20th anniversary of the first Rome Gay Parade in June that he would approve a civil union register and registration of gay marriages performed abroad.
