UPDATE: NYPD Releases Footage Of Suspects, Horrific Details Of Brooklyn Beating
UPDATE: NYPD Releases Footage Of Suspects, Horrific Details Of Brooklyn Beating
Police have released footage of two of the four assailants suspected of beating a trans woman unconscious on the streets of Brooklyn last Sunday night.
We previously reported that the unnamed victim was harassed before the attack, and new details from the NY Daily News paint an even more distressing picture of what happened.
Witnesses told cops the four goons followed the victim down Bushwick Ave. spouting anti-gay epithets before the attack.
“What are you doing on this block?” one punk barked.
The victim yelled back and then tried to get away, but the suspects chased her down and attacked, police said.
One of the brutes beat the woman in the head with a Plexiglas board, knocking her out, as the other three punks kicked and punched her, officials said.
Emergency responders rushed the victim to Elmhurst Hospital, where she remained in critical condition early Wednesday, authorities said.
Police describe one suspect as “a black man who was last seen wearing a dark, long-sleeve shirt, gray sweatpants, white sneakers, a ski cap and a gray sleeveless sweatshirt with the word “Freedom” on it,” and the other as “a black man with a short haircut, who was last seen wearing a blue Nike hooded sweatshirt with blue sweatpants.”
At this time, no arrests have been made.
Here is the surveillance footage of two of the suspects:

Games Of Thrones' Michiel Huisman Stars In Baz Luhrmann's Chanel Mini Film: VIDEO
Michiel Huisman, who you may recognize as Daario Naharis from Game of Thrones, takes a star turn in Baz Luhrmann’s “mini-film” for Chanel’s No. 5 alongside über-model Gisele Bündchen. The film also features a haunting rendition of “The One That I Want” (which doubles as the name for the mini film) from Grease as performed by hunky singer Lo-Fang. Luhrmann’s latest video adventure for No. 5 follows up on his 2004 film/commerical which starred Nicole Kidman.

Stephen Colbert Discusses Recent Gay Marriage Rulings
Stephen Colbert Discusses Recent Gay Marriage Rulings
Last week the United States (well… at least those of us who matter) welcomed a huge series of victories for supporters of same-sex marriage. But the real question on everyone’s mind is… what does Stephen Colbert think about it?
Following the one of the most recent wins, the striking down of Alaska’s gay marriage ban, Colbert decided to publicly address the wave of gay marriage victories on “The Colbert Report.” And he did it in true Colbert fashion:
“Gay marriage is legal in Alaska! Gay couples will have the right to celebrate the traditional Alaskan way — by having Bristol Palin cold-cock one of their guests! Of course, as much as I love America, as a person of faith all that matters to me is the position of the Catholic Church. And that position has always been guy on girl, lights on, little weeping, little praying, straight to sleep.”
