PERSON OF INTEREST NAMED IN KILLING OF BEE SLATER, TRANS WOMAN IN FLORIDA: <\/strong>A man<\/a> in the Belle Glade area has been named a \u201cperson of interest.\u201d Police have also identified a second man<\/a> who posted threatening messages directed at Slater before her death, but he has not been arrested or named a suspect. \u201cIn a lot of cases, the murder occurs in the context of underground economies, so they are very difficult to solve,\u201d said HRC\u2019s Sarah McBride<\/strong> (@SarahEMcBride<\/a>). \u201cThen in some cases, law enforcement just doesn\u2019t put their full resources behind solving them.\u201d More from The New York Times<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n
