1) <\/strong>Sneak peeks have been released for upcoming movie\u00a0Hustlers,<\/em><\/a>\u00a0<\/em>which follows\u00a0a group of dancers who con Wall Street clients out of their money. The cast, which includes Jennifer Lopez, Cardi B, Constance Wu, Lizzo, and Trace Lysette, all released character teasers. Watch Lysette’s below as her character Tracey! Hustlers\u00a0<\/i>will be in theaters September 13 and the full trailer will be out next week. In other film news, out actress Holland Taylor has been cast to play “The Great Leader” in the upcoming\u00a0Bill and Ted Face the Music.<\/em><\/a><\/p>\n

2) <\/strong>Netflix released the trailer for season four<\/a> of GLAAD Media Award recipient Queer Eye<\/em>. The fourth season continues to follow the Fab Five in Kansas City, and includes a visit to Jonathan Van Ness’ school. The season will air on July 19. Watch the trailer\u00a0below.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

3)<\/strong>\u00a0The cast has been anounced for the ninth season of American Horror Story,\u00a0<\/i>dubbed\u00a0<\/a>AHS:1984<\/a>.\u00a0<\/em>The new ’80s set season will feature LGBTQ actors Gus Kenworthy, Cody Fern, and\u00a0Pose<\/em>‘s Angelica Ross. 4)\u00a0<\/strong>Stranger Things 3<\/em> breakout star Maya Hawke<\/a> gives life to the series\u2019 first canon LGBTQ character. Robin comes out during the seventh episode in an intimate scene with fan-favorite character Steve (Joe Keery), who is quick to accept her.\u00a0Watch the trailer for season three below.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

5) <\/strong>HBO’s Euphoria <\/em>has been renewed for a second season<\/a>. The teen<\/a> drama, currently airing season one, features a romance between main character Rue (Zendaya) and her best friend Jules (Hunter Schafer), who is trans<\/a>. In other TV news, Netflix’s\u00a0dystopian teen<\/a> drama The Society<\/i>\u00a0has also been renewed for a second season.<\/a> The show includes multiple queer characters including Sam, a gay<\/a> deaf man<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

6)\u00a0<\/strong>HBO released a trailer\u00a0for the upcoming\u00a0A Black Lady Sketch Show,\u00a0<\/em>a comedy show produced, written by, and starring\u00a0black women. <\/a>The trailer teased several high profile guests including Lena Waithe and Laverne Cox.\u00a0Hulu released a trailer for the second season of horror show\u00a0<\/a>Light as a Feather,<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>which includes lesbian<\/a> character Alex. 7)<\/strong> “It\u2019s Strange” and “Promise” singer K.Flay<\/a>‘s\u00a0new album Solutions<\/em>\u00a0is out today. Her third studio album will also feature\u00a0a track with Imagine Dragons\u2019 Dan Reynolds. K. Flay will showcase the album live<\/a> during a North American tour this fall. 8) <\/strong>Out lesbian duo Tegan and Sara<\/a> have announced their new album and its release date;\u00a0Hey, I\u2019m Just Like You<\/em> is expected to drop on September 27. The album is inspired by songs Tegan and Sara recorded as teenagers<\/a> on cassette tapes 20 years ago.
