Grab the remote, set your DVR or queue up your streaming service of choice! GLAAD is bringing you the highlights LGBTQ on TV this week. Check back every Sunday for up-to-date coverage in LGBTQ-inclusive programming on TV.<\/p>\n

HBO\u2019s Euphoria <\/em>premieres tonight. The show stars Zendaya as Rue, a teenage<\/a> girl<\/a> who experiences, along with her high school classmates, the ups and downs of love and friendship in a world of drugs, sex<\/a>, violence and social networks. Hunter Schafer also stars as Rue\u2019s best friend Jules, who is transgender and an integral part of the show. Euphoria: Sunday, 10pm on HBO. <\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n

The 2019 MTV Movie and TV Awards will take place on Monday night. LGBTQ-inclusive nominees include Schitt\u2019s Creek;\u00a0Riverdale; The Haunting of Hill House;\u00a0<\/em>Eric and Adam\u2019s kiss on Sex Education; McQueen; <\/em>and more. Amandla Stenberg, Lady Gaga, Dan Levy, Mj Rodriguez and Hannah Gadsby are some of the LGBTQ people nominated as well. 2019 MTV Movie and TV Awards: Monday, 9pm on MTV.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n

The second season of The Fosters <\/em>spinoff Good Trouble<\/em> premieres Tuesday. The show boasts several LGBTQ characters in the ensemble, including bi<\/a> character Gael, lesbian<\/a> character Alice, and and trans<\/a> character Jazmin. In the season two premiere, Alice attempts to win Joey back,\u00a0the outcome of the Jamal Thompson case is decided, and Callie is forced to decide what she’s willing to fight for. Good Trouble: Tuesday, 8pm on Freeform.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n

The HBO documentary Wig <\/em>will air on Wednesday. The film demonstrates the history of the drag festival Wigfest, with origins dating back to 1984, and how legendary drag queen Lady Bunny brought the festival back last year. The documentary features Neil Patrick Harris, along with famous drag queens Lady Bunny, Alaska, and Naomi Smalls. Wig: Tuesday, 10pm on HBO.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n

The final episodes of GLAAD Media Award-winning Disney Channel show Andi Mack <\/em>begin airing on Friday and run through end of July. The show is notable for the character of Cyrus, the first person to come out as gay<\/a> on a Disney Channel show. In the episodes airing on Friday, Andi and friends take a stand against a wasteful clothing company, and\u00a0Cyrus is disappointed by T.J.’s new friendship.
