Said Van Ness<\/a>: \u201cIt\u2019s really cool! The older I get, the more I think that I\u2019m nonbinary \u2014 I\u2019m gender nonconforming. Like, some days I feel like a man<\/a>, but then other days I feel like a woman<\/a>. I don\u2019t really \u2014 I think my energies are really all over the place. Any opportunity I have to break down stereotypes of the binary, I am down for it, I\u2019m here for it. I think that a lot of times gender is used to separate and divide. It\u2019s this social construct that I don\u2019t really feel like I fit into the way I used to. I always used to think \u201cOh, I\u2019m like a gay<\/a> man<\/a>,\u201d but I think any way I can let little boys<\/a> and little girls<\/a> know that they can express themselves and they can like be \u2014 like, making iconic partnerships with brands like essie no matter now they present is really important and exciting.\u201d<\/p>\n
