Don Lemon told an industry conference that a heckler called him a \u201cfaggot\u201d as he was doing a shoot for CNN last week.<\/p>\n

Said Lemon, according to <\/a>The Hollywood Reporter<\/a><\/em>: \u201cI was doing a shoot in the park the other day and someone said, \u2018We built this country. I can\u2019t wait for CNN to fire your black ass<\/a>, you faggot.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lemon added that Trump\u2019s personal attacks \u201ctake a toll on me, on my privacy and safety and security, and the safety and security of my family.\u201d<\/p>\n

Commentator Keith Boykin said he\u2019s seen the tape: \u201cI was on CNN with Don a few weeks ago when he mentioned this incident on air in our discussion about racism in progressive places.
