On Monday, HBO\u2019s new series Gentleman Jack <\/em>premieres. Based on a true story, the 19th century period piece show follows Anne Lister whose\u00a0letters speak of her relationship to other woman<\/a>. In the premiere, Anne returns to Shibden Hall, having discovered that her would-be companion, the aristocratic Vere Hobart, has accepted a marriage proposal from a man<\/a>.\u00a0Gentleman Jack: Monday, 10pm on HBO.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n

The second season of Netflix\u2019s GLAAD Media Award-nominated She-Ra and the Princesses of Power<\/em> will be released on the streaming service on Friday. The show follows Adora, who can transform into magical warrior She-Ra,\u00a0and gathers up a group of princesses to fight evil. The show is created by out writer and artist Noelle Stevenson, and features queer characters within the ensemble. She-Ra and the Princesses of Power: Friday on Netflix. <\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n
