Seth Meyers Rips Trump\u2019s Excuse That His Tax Returns are Too Complicated for People to Understand: WATCH<\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cPresident Trump has been resisting calls<\/a> for three years to release his tax returns, said Seth Meyers at the start of a Closer Look segment at the president\u2019s ongoing refusal.<\/p>\n

Meyers then played a clip of Trump droning on with excuses about why he can\u2019t release the tax returns, adding, \u201cHe sounds like a scientist insisting on giving a TED talk despite a recent massive head wound. \u2026 He tees it up like he is about switch gears, and then just repeats himself again \u2026 It\u2019s like if you ask somebody to marry you and they said \u2018well it\u2019s awfully soon and I\u2019m a little afraid of commitment, but I will say this \u2026. no.’\u201d <\/p>\n

\u201cKnowing that the audit excuse is a transparent lie Trump has in the last few months moved on to a new excuse that his tax returns are too complicated for people to understand,\u201d explained Meyers.<\/p>\n

Meyers then played a ridiculous segment of Trump giving excuses again that the IRS is a \u201cbig, complex\u201d company that\u2019s \u201cprobably feet high.\u201d<\/p>\n

Quipped Meyers: \u201cWe need an audit to figure out what the hell you\u2019re saying. \u2026 Why does the president of the United States aways sound like spam email asking you for your social security number?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cSarah Huckabee Sanders took Trump\u2019s argument one step further,\u201d Meyers added, \u201csaying members of Congress were literally too dumb to understand them.\u201d<\/p>\n

Said Meyers: \u201cI will concede, if Sanders is talking about the Republican members of Congress, then yes, some of them are not smart enough to understand Trump\u2019s tax returns.\u201d<\/p>\n
