Saturday Night Live\u2019s cold open took on the completion of the Mueller Report. The sketch flipped through the reaction to the report from three different figures: Robert De Niro\u2019s Special Counsel Mueller, Aidy Bryant\u2019s William Barr, and Alec Baldwin\u2019s Trump.<\/p>\n

The three took turns sounding off on their reactions with De Niro\u2019s Mueller reading from his report, Bryant\u2019s Barr spewing out his interpretation, and Trump tweeting gleefully.<\/p>\n

Said De Niro\u2019s Mueller: \u201cI am submitting these 380 pages.\u201d<\/p>\n

Quipped Bryant\u2019s Barr: \u201cI am writing almost four pages.\u201d<\/p>\n

Tweeted Baldwin\u2019s Trump: \u201cI am reading zero pages, but Sean Hannity has read it and he was so excited that he texted me an eggplant.\u201d<\/p>\n

Said De Niro\u2019s Mueller: \u201cOn the charge of obstruction of justice, we have not drawn a definitive conclusion.\u201d<\/p>\n

Responded Bryant\u2019s Barr: \u201cBut I have, and my conclusion is: Trump\u2019s clean as a whistle.\u201d<\/p>\n

Tweeted Baldwin\u2019s Trump: \u201cFree at last, free at last.\u201d<\/p>\n

Said De Niro\u2019s Mueller: \u201cAs for conspiracy or collusion, there were several questionable incidences involving the president\u2019s team, but we cannot prove a criminal connection.\u201d<\/p>\n

Replied Bryant\u2019s Barr: \u201cNo collusion, no diggity, no doubt.\u201d<\/p>\n

Baldwin\u2019s Trump sounds off a celebratory air horn.<\/p>\n

Said De Niro\u2019s Mueller: However, we have indicted 34 individuals in connection with this probe\u201d<\/p>\n

Added Bryant\u2019s Barr: \u201cMost of them, very good people.\u201d<\/p>\n

Tweeted Baldwin\u2019s Trump: \u201cThe pardons are already in the mail.\u201d<\/p>\n

Explained De Niro\u2019s Mueller: \u201cI\u2019ve included hundreds of pages of evidence.\u201d<\/p>\n

Added Bryant\u2019s Barr: \u201cMost of it provided on live<\/a> television by the president himself.\u201d<\/p>\n

Shouted Baldwin\u2019s Trump: \u201cRussia, if you\u2019re watching, go to bed. Daddy won.\u201d<\/p>\n

Then De Niro\u2019s Mueller reminded everyone that there are still ongoing investigations.<\/p>\n

\u201cInvestigations into Democrats, TV shows that have been mean to me, and Puerto Rico. That\u2019s right. I want my paper towels back, amigos,\u201d said Trump.<\/p>\n

Added De Niro\u2019s Mueller: \u201cIn conclusion it is my hope that this report will be made public, with a few redactions.\u201d<\/p>\n

Assured Bryant\u2019s Barr: \u201cHella<\/em> redactions.\u201d<\/p>\n

Explained Baldwin\u2019s Trump: \u201cWe\u2019re going to black out everything except the words \u2018no\u2019 and \u2018collusion.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIf you shoot at the devil, you must not miss,\u201d he added, conjuring up Kate McKinnon\u2019s Rudy Giuliani.<\/p>\n

\u201cDid someone say devil?\u201d McKinnon\u2019s Giuliani asked, going on to celebrate how his \u201cmind games worked\u201d to get the president off the hook.<\/p>\n

\u201cVengeance will be mine,\u201d added Baldwin\u2019s Trump.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd I will take the first born child of every Democrat, unless they can guess my name is Rumplestiltsken,\u201d said McKinnon\u2019s Giuliani.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

In a sketch later in the show, The Mueller Report came up again in a meeting at the Kremlin. Vladimir Putin (Beck Bennett) was forced to admit the truth about Russia\u2019s relationship with Trump after the report found there was no collusion.<\/p>\n

This came as a moment of great dismay for Putin\u2019s generals, who were ready to celebrate with a party after the world learned of their influence.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe looked forward to the report so much,\u201d said Cecily Strong\u2019s Putin adviser. \u201cIt was going to be Mueller Time baby. All the world would see the power of Russia.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIs what is,\u201d said Bennett\u2019s Putin. <\/p>\n

The generals, confounded, asked, \u201cIf we have no blackmail, why President Trump say such nice things about you.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI think he just likes me,\u201d said Bennett\u2019s Putin. \u201cI can\u2019t figure this guy<\/a> out. He\u2019s in my head!\u201d<\/p>\n

When Kim Jong Un arrived for a meeting, demanding to know what\u2019s going on, Bennett\u2019s Putin explained, \u201cBut also we don\u2019t know everything in the report yet, plus Mueller handed off a lot of stuff to the Southern District of New York.\u201d<\/p>\n

Quipped Sandra Oh\u2019s Kim translator: Glorious Leader says you sound like Rachel Maddow right now.\u201d<\/p>\n
