PLANES GROUNDED IN U.S.<\/strong> By emergency order<\/a>: \u2018The FAA said it decided to ground the jets after it found that the Ethiopian Airlines aircraft that crashed had a flight pattern very similar to the Lion Air flight path. \u201cIt became clear that the track of the Ethiopian flight behaved very similarly to the Lion Air flight,\u201d said Steven Gottlieb, deputy director of accident investigation for the FAA.\u2019<\/p>\n

DETROIT<\/strong>. Man sentenced for 2013 murder of gay man<\/a>: \u2018Hameer\u00a0Alkotait accepted a plea agreement on second-degree murder. Judge Michael Hathaway sentenced Alkotait to 18-20 years in prison in connection to the murder of Gabino Rodriguez.\u00a0Alkotait\u2019s co-defendant, Andrew Czarnecki,\u00a0was sentenced to life in prison without parole after he was found guilty\u00a0by trial\u00a0in\u00a0December 2018<\/a>. Alkotait and Czarnecki targeted Rodriguez for robbery because he was gay<\/a>, prosecutors said. During the robbery, Alkotait and Czarnecki savagely beat and strangled Gambino, and then burned his body beyond recognition in a field in southwest Detroit.\u2019<\/p>\n
