Season four of Syfy\u2019s The Magicians<\/em> premieres this Wednesday. The show features many queer characters including fan-favorite Eliot (Hale Appleman.) The finale of season three saw the crew successfully bringing magic back into the realm, but erasing their memories in the process, while Eliot has been possessed by a monster, who is hunting down his friends. The Magicians: Wednesday, 9pm on Syfy. <\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n

The premiere of the final season of comedy Broad City<\/em> airs this Thursday. Created by Ilana Glazer and Abbi Jacobson, the show stars the two creators as versions of themselves. The fictional Ilana has been queer for several seasons, but the fifth season will show Abbi dating a woman<\/a> for the first time, as Jacobson herself came out as bi<\/a> last year. Glazer told <\/a>The New York Times,<\/a> <\/em>\u201cEveryone who works with us has gotten queerer and queerer in the past six years. I swear to God.\u201d Broad City: Thursday, 10pm on Comedy Central. <\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Right after Broad City<\/em>, Comedy Central will premiere the new comedy The Other Two<\/em>. Co-created by out writer Chris Kelly, who wrote the GLAAD Media Award-winning film Other People, <\/em>the show follows an unsuccessful brother and sister whose 14-year-old brother becomes an Internet sensation. The older brother is a gay<\/a> aspiring actor who rides the wave of his brother\u2019s success. The Other Two: Thursday, 10:30pm on Comedy Central.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n
