Kathy Griffin Meets Colbert for the First Time, Unloads About How the U.S. Government Treated Her: WATCH<\/b><\/p>\n

Kathy Griffin met Stephen Colbert for the first time last night and took him through the entire severed head saga, for which she was told she was threatened with the charge of conspiracy to assassinate the president.<\/p>\n

Said Griffin: \u201cYes, I took a photo that changed my life irrevocably.\u00a0That was one thing. Because the walls caved in on me, and the accidental president \u2013 it\u2019s an accident\u2013 he tweeted at me that, you know, my\u2013 he tweeted against me, which made everything cancel in my life, basically.\u00a0I was in the middle of a 50-city tour, and within 12 hours I had not one single day of work ahead of me. And, by the way, to this day, I do not have one single day of paid work ahead of me. So I\u2019ve been digging myself out of this rabbit hole for last year and a half.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kathy Griffin should be ashamed of herself. My children, especially my 11 year old son, Barron, are having a hard time with this. Sick!<\/p>\n

She added: \u201cAnd the next day I got a call<\/a> from one of my attorneys that the Department of Justice \u2013 and a lot of people don\u2019t know this part \u2013 were putting me under a two month federal investigation and considering charging me with the crime of \u2013 this is real \u2013 conspiracy to assassinate the president of the United States.\u201d<\/p>\n

Griffin went on: \u201cSo a lot of people thought you know I got a call<\/a> from the Secret Service or got in fake Hollywood trouble. But, no, this is real-life trouble\u2026I was on the no fly list for two months. So then they wanted me to go downtown to the police precinct and they wanted get video<\/a> of what\u2019s called the perp walk. And this was coming \u2013 I\u2019m assuming \u2013 directly from the Oval Office and Jeff Sessions. That\u2019s where your tax dollars went, everybody, investigating Kathy Griffin.\u00a0Mr. Cooper\u00a0said I was disgusting, and I lost about 75% of my friends that never came back. And it was hard.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
