John Wright at Outsmart reported<\/a> that\u00a0Kaj Baker was told that people at\u00a0Scottish Rite Dormitory, a private, off-campus facility that provides all-female<\/a> housing to UT students, were \u201cuncomfortable\u201d that she and her girlfriend<\/a> were studying together, brushing their teeth together in the bathroom, and wearing pajamas.<\/p>\n When Baker asked\u00a0dorm director Mary Mazurek, \u201cWhy are people uncomfortable?\u201d, Mazurek replied: \u201cBecause some people are not comfortable with your sexual orientation.\u201d<\/p>\n EXCLUSIVE: TNC reporter @elizwsmith<\/a> gives us an inside look at a dormitory\u2019s response to one freshman\u2019s relationship. We weren\u2019t harming anyone. We weren\u2019t doing PDA. We weren\u2019t breaking any rules. It was us existing.\u00a0They told me that girls<\/a> need to feel safe here, and I asked her if we made people feel unsafe. She said, \u2018I\u2019m not going there.
