Of course, if you&rsquo;re <a href=\"http:\/\/www.queerty.com\/heres-how-to-be-gay-hook-up-and-find-love-in-college-20140624\" target=\"_blank\">the adorable Dan Levitz<\/a>, hooking up in the dorms and maybe finding that special someone may come easily. For most, it&rsquo;s a turbulent period of self discovery specked with the ups and downs that come with finding yourself away from the comforts of home.<\/p>\n<p>We asked the team at <a href=\"http:\/\/whisper.sh\/\" target=\"_blank\">Whisper<\/a> to give us a snapshot of what it&rsquo;s like for college students as they begin a fresh school year. Here&rsquo;s what they found:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div><a href=\"http:\/\/whisper.sh\/whisper\/04d08dd5ed39889025368bb28bbc8f507a8304\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/embed.whisper.sh\/whisper.sh\/04d08dd5ed39889025368bb28bbc8f507a8304.jpg\" alt=\"I'm so glad I came out in college. Being openly gay is awesome.\"><\/a><\/div>\n<\/p>\n<div><a href=\"http:\/\/whisper.sh\/whisper\/04d16c048a4a056875578a812614341318dcdf\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/embed.whisper.sh\/whisper.sh\/04d16c048a4a056875578a812614341318dcdf.jpg\" alt=\"The issue I have with most of the gay men in college is that all they want is sex. I just want to be with someone: I'm tired of being alone\"><\/a><\/div>\n<\/p>\n<div><a href=\"http:\/\/whisper.sh\/whisper\/04eeadbc6064a229346c72b4a0f875a577e0d\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/embed.whisper.sh\/whisper.sh\/04eeadbc6064a229346c72b4a0f875a577e0d.jpg\" alt=\"I'm praying my College Roommate is gay.. They all get a little gay if they're drunk enough\"><\/a><\/div>\n<\/p>\n<div><a href=\"http:\/\/whisper.sh\/whisper\/04fb60543c53c25145628a1eb530ce7998aa06\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/embed.whisper.sh\/whisper.sh\/04fb60543c53c25145628a1eb530ce7998aa06.jpg\" alt=\"I'm a gay guy in college and I'm happy in most aspects of my life, but lonely in one.
