Sayoc, 56, was arrested yesterday on suspicion of mailing 12 bomb devices to prominent Democrats and critics of Donald Trump including\u00a0Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden, Maxine Waters, CNN\/ John Brennan, Robert De Niro, Eric Holder, Cory Booker, James Clapper and George Soros.<\/p>\n
Buzzfeed News reported<\/a>: \u2018Photos on a Facebook account that appeared to belong to Sayoc, showed him at pro-Trump events in 2016, wearing a MAGA hat, holding MAGA signs, and posting MAGA memes on his social media. Many of his posts were related to his support for Trump. He also appeared to be at Trump\u2019s inauguration in January. He also posted a video<\/a> of him at an event where Trump was speaking on stage.\u00a0In one post in September 2016, Sayoc celebrated false conspiracy theories about Hillary Clinton\u2019s reported decline in health, saying she was \u201cheaded to graveyard\u201d and that \u201cAmerica will celebrate\u201d her death.\u2019<\/p>\n Gureghian said she was \u201cshell-shocked\u201d and \u201cher hair stood up\u201d when she heard he was the suspect because despite his political views and the van he drove he was well-dressed, cordial, polite, and a model employee.<\/p>\n Said Gureghian: \u201cHe was anti-gay<\/a>, anti-black, anti-Jewish, you name it. Everybody that wasn\u2019t white, and wasn\u2019t a white supremacist didn\u2019t belong in the world. That\u2019s what he used to say to me all the time.\u201d<\/p>\n She added: \u201cHe knew I was a lesbian<\/a> and a very proud lesbian<\/a> and he made it a point to tell me that God had made a mistake with me and that I should burn in hell\u2026my mother brought me up to always believe the best in people and turn the other cheek. I\u2019ve had people not like me because I\u2019ve been gay<\/a>. I didn\u2019t have to go home with him. He was not a friend of mine. I just hired him. He did his job.\u201d<\/p>\n Gureghian said that she once got a ride home from Sayoc in the van with all the crazy Trump decals on it. She called the van \u201cfreaky scary\u201d and said that when she got in the van she made sure to look for a way out.<\/p>\n \u201cHe had really appreciated me as a general manager, liked me, but hated me as being a lesbian<\/a>.
