Meyers then turned to the Bob Woodward book and the conversations Trump had with his lawyers that are detailed in the book, specifically a discussion Trump had with lawyer John Dowd in which he tried to convince Dowd that he\u2019d be a good witness.<\/p>\n
\u201cYou would not be a good witness,\u201d Dowd replied.<\/p>\n
Meyers also talked about the conversation Woodward had with Trump during which Trump realized the book would be negative.<\/p>\n
Quipped Meyers: \u201cHe\u2019s like a guy<\/a> who doesn\u2019t understand why he\u2019s being dumped. I\u2019m breaking up with you because you\u2019re dumb, annoying, selfish, ugly, and I don\u2019t like you, and I\u2019m not attracted to you in any way.<\/em>\u201d<\/p>\n Meyers continued that it\u2019s \u201cabsurd,\u201d given the above circumstances, that Trump should be allowed to appoint Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court.
