Armie Hammer, who is starring in a new Broadway show called Straight White Men<\/em>, stopped by The Late Show<\/em> to chat<\/a> with Stephen Colbert, and the convo turned to the gay<\/a> drama Call Me By Your Name<\/em>.<\/p>\n Hammer told Colbert that fans keep giving him peaches (as Colbert advises, \u201cwatch the film\u201d) to sign.<\/p>\n Said Hammer: \u201cI get handed at least a peach or two every stage door.\u201d<\/p>\n Hammer said that most people don\u2019t intend to eat the peaches, or use them the way they do in the film.<\/p>\n Hammer said he asks the fans what they\u2019re going to do with it: \u201cThey\u2019re going to put that peach on a shelf\u2026and in ten days it\u2019s going to putrefy and their entire place it\u2019s going to be full of fruit flies.\u201d<\/p>\n Added Colbert: \u201cIt\u2019s an art installation.\u201d<\/p>\n Quipped Hammer: \u201cYeah.
