Trump lawyer Michael Cohen, who many expect to flip and cooperate with special counsel Robert Mueller\u2019s Russia investigation, resigned from the RNC\u00a0Finance Committee today and also distanced himself from Trump for the first time.<\/p>\n

ABC News reports<\/a>: \u201cIn his resignation letter to Ronna McDaniel, the RNC chair, Cohen cited the ongoing special counsel investigation as one reason for his departure\u2026Cohen also criticized the administration\u2019s policy of separating migrant children from their parents at the southern border, the first time he\u2019s distanced himself from the president.\u201d<\/p>\n

CNN spoke to one of Cohen\u2019s personal friends<\/a> who said that he is now willing to give up info on the president.<\/p>\n
