Matt Bomer and Andrew Rannells played a game called \u201cUncomfortably Close\u201d on last night\u2019s Watch What Happens Live!<\/em>, and it ended as close as possible. The two actors were there to promote their Broadway play The Boys in the Band<\/em>. Their co-star Charlie Carver was also on hand tending bar.<\/p>\n Watch:<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Cohen also asked them about being gay<\/a> in Hollywood, and whether they were ever closeted.<\/p>\n Said Bomer: \u201cIt wasn\u2019t really anything I ever endeavored to hide. I certainly was never closeted on the set. Maybe early, early, early on. I wouldn\u2019t trade it for the world.\u201d<\/p>\n Added Rannells: \u201cI had too many ex-boyfriends to ever hide in the closet.\u201d<\/p>\n Rannells did add that he had hooked up backstage while working on Broadway: \u201cI had sex<\/a> in a dressing room in Hairspray<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Rannells talked about working with Anne Hathaway:<\/p>\n<\/p>\n During the aftershow, the actors were asked about the most annoying habit they encounter with audiences \u2014 cell phones. Bomer was asked if he kept any of his Magic Mike<\/em> costumes.
