<\/p>\nGOP Missouri Gov. Eric Greitens Resigns Amid Probes into Alleged Blackmail of Mistress, Fundraising Violations: WATCH<\/b>

Missouri GOP Governor Eric Greitens, who was hit with a felony indictment in February<\/a>\u00a0\u201cfor allegedly taking and transmitting a non-consensual photo of his partly nude<\/a> lover\u201d and threatening to blackmail her with it shortly before the campaign that got him elected in 2016, resigned today (above) following an investigation into that and further charges that he used a donor list from his charity to do campaign fundraising.<\/p>\n Greitens was under investigation by a state House committee determining whether or not to impeach him.<\/p>\n TPM adds<\/a>: \u2018A Missouri House committee\u00a0reported in April<\/a>\u00a0that Greitens held the woman<\/a> down during the March 2015 encounter in a \u201cbear hug\u201d before pulling out his penis<\/a>, among other allegations. The woman<\/a> testified anonymously that she performed oral sex<\/a> on him because she thought \u201cthat would allow me to leave\u201d and feared for her \u201cphysical self.\u201d\u2019<\/p>\n Okay, Greitens refuses to resign in the face of merciless, insanely damaging sex<\/a> and blackmail scandal, resigns immediately when forced to turn over records of his dark money group?
