\ufeff<\/span><\/p>\n A gay<\/a> NJ high school couple<\/a>\u2019s prom date has gone viral on Twitter, catching the attention of ABC7 New York<\/a>, who spoke with Theodore Vidal about he and his boyfriend Colin Beyers\u2019 stroll on the Seaside Heights boardwalk last Friday.<\/p>\n Watch ABC7\u2019s report up top.<\/p>\n Good Morning America<\/em> producer Michael Del Moro saw the couple<\/a> walking on the boardwalk after their prom. He also noticed a group of \u201crowdy bros\u201d at a rooftop bar obnoxiously yelling at various couples<\/a> to kiss as they strolled by.<\/p>\n Del Moro was concerned about what would happen when the gay<\/a> couple<\/a> passed the group, but he, and others who were apparently watching on the boardwalk, were relieved when the group enthusiastically cheered after instructing Vidal and Beyers to kiss one another, rather than taunting them with a gay<\/a> slur \u2013 something Del Moro said was not uncommon in that town.<\/p>\n Vidal told ABC7: \u201cThe way it went down was amazing.
