Today, I put it on to remind me of what my family is all about: treating everyone equally \u2026 with dignity \u2026 and with respect.<\/p>\n<p>Everyone, LGBTQ or otherwise, should get to <a title=\"\" class=\"aalmanual\" target=\"_blank\"   href=\"https:\/\/chaturbate.com\/in\/?tour=grq0&#38;campaign=hl4zp&#38;track=gfcsb\">live<\/a> as freely as Adam does \u2013\u2013 and, as one of HRC\u2019s <em>Moms for Equality<\/em>, I\u2019m committed to making that happen. <strong><u><a href=\"http:\/\/hrc.im\/moms\" target=\"_blank\">Will you join me as an HRC member today?<\/a><\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This whole campaign has become such a family affair. All of us are in this fight for LGBTQ equality \u2026 for Adam, of course, but also for all those young people like him who haven\u2019t had an easy time openly being themselves. They need allies to support them, now more than ever!<\/p>\n<p>Adam went to PyeongChang to represent the United States as a member of the 2018 Olympic Team. He offered more than three impeccable performances. He offered hope to many who watched an openly <a title=\"\" class=\"aalmanual\" target=\"_blank\"   href=\"https:\/\/chaturbate.com\/in\/?tour=R2Xc&#38;campaign=hl4zp&#38;track=gfcsb\">gay<\/a> <a title=\"\" class=\"aalmanual\" target=\"_blank\"   href=\"https:\/\/chaturbate.com\/in\/?tour=R2Xc&#38;campaign=hl4zp&#38;track=gfcsb\">man<\/a> evolve as America\u2019s sweetheart. Adam\u2019s honest, engaging interviews and incredible composure under pressure exemplified the true spirit of the Olympic Games.<\/p>\n<p>I am very proud of his selection to the Olympic team, even prouder that his stellar performances contributed to his team medal, but most proud of him for making \u201cbeing yourself\u201d popular again and sharing his Olympic platform with the fight against discrimination that many LGBTQ people still face today.<\/p>\n<p>As his mother and a member of HRC, I\u2019ll support him at every turn.
