Queer Eye\u2019s Karamo Brown Sounds Off on Antoni\u2019s Thirst Trap Photo Shoot, Shania Twain\u2019s Trump Views: WATCH<\/b>

Queer Eye<\/em>\u2018s cultural guy<\/a> Karamo Brown sat down for a wide-ranging Facebook Live interview with Marc Malkin where he was grilled about topics past and current, the most current being Shania Twain, who apologized this week after saying that she would have voted for Trump.<\/p>\n

Asked Malkin: \u201cDo you think she can redeem herself with the gay<\/a> community because the gays<\/a> were not having it on social media.\u201d<\/p>\n

Said Brown: \u201cAs a community, we are very forgiving.\u00a0It\u2019s in our nature, because we have been treated so bad by people in our family and our friends who didn\u2019t accept us as we go on our journeys that we\u2019ve learned how to be empathetic and to forgive, and I believe that as a community we will again.\u201d<\/p>\n

Malkin also asked Brown whether he, or any of the new \u2018fab five\u2019 identify as \u2018queer\u2019: \u201cI don\u2019t. I describe myself as gay<\/a>. I come from an old school where gay<\/a> used to be a negative. It\u2019s not negative anymore to me. Through the years, I understand the reclaiming the power with it, but queer is more an umbrella that encompasses so many other people and for me, I identify as a gay<\/a> man<\/a>. I have a lot of friends who identify as queer. I don\u2019t know if any of the guys<\/a> on [Queer Eye<\/em>] identify as gay<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n

Added Brown: \u201cNone of us identify as queer. I don\u2019t know about Jonathan, We never asked if Jonathan identifies as queer. I know that me, Bobby and Tan identify as gay<\/a> men<\/a>. Antoni identifies as a gay<\/a> man<\/a>\u2026I don\u2019t know what Jonathan identifies as. I would assume gay<\/a> but I don\u2019t know.\u201d<\/p>\n

Brown was also asked about the recent\u00a0Gay Times<\/em> magazine featuring Queer Eye<\/em> food guru Antoni Porowski in a variety of sultry thirst trap poses.<\/p>\n

\u201cIs this Antoni when we don\u2019t see [him], is he walking around like this all the time,\u201d asked Malkin. \u201cBecause he seems very shy.\u201d<\/p>\n

Said Brown: \u201cAntoni is full of thirst traps. Antoni is not shy. That is part of the Rob Pattinson, all those sexy guys<\/a> who are like, I\u2019m wounded, and dark and mysterious. But you wouldn\u2019t be in front of the camera<\/a> if you were that shy. He turns it on because he understands.<\/p>\n
