Seth Meyers ripped Trump\u2019s \u201cobsession\u201d with the U.S. border with Mexico last night, blasting his plan to send the National Guard there.<\/p>\n
Meyers started by mocking Trump\u2019s fondness for the term \u201ccatch and release\u201d \u2014 or \u201cas Trump used to call<\/a> it, \u2018marriage.’\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n This week Trump called for the U.S. military to guard the border.<\/p>\n Said Meyers: \u201cOh great, another thing for General Mattis\u2019s to-do list. He\u2019s already planning your dumb military parade, now you want him to guard the border<\/em>. Why don\u2019t you combine the two and have the parade along the Mexican border? If you think about it, have you ever tried to cross the street during a parade? Immigrants would walk up to the border and be like, \u2018Aw man<\/a>, this is today? Ugh, bagpipes. Let\u2019s get out of here.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n Trump also gave a speech where he talked about the border with an arm movement that looked like he was describing the curves of a woman<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cWhat is this?\u201d asked Meyers, imitating him. \u201cI think he wants to f**k the border.\u201d<\/p>\n Meyers then moved on to Trump\u2019s \u201cgrowing anger toward Amazon,\u201d noting that Republicans are refusing to live<\/a> up to their demands that the government not pick \u201cwinners and losers,\u201d something that Trump lives to do.<\/p>\n Trump reported asked people around him how \u201che can F with [Jeff Bezos].\u201d<\/p>\n Quipped Meyers: \u201cHow can you F with him?
