Mimicking a Craigslist \u2018Missed Connections\u2019 entry, Gus Kenworthy posted an Instagram on Monday night directed at Ricky Martin and his husband Jwan Yosef (read it HERE<\/a>).<\/p>\n Wrote Kenworthy<\/a>: \u201cLiving La Vida Lonely \u2013 m4m (LA, California) We’ll be out late, don’t wait up. #Oscars<\/a> pic.twitter.com\/u99BtSFOfx<\/a><\/p>\n \u2014 Gus Kenworthy (@guskenworthy) March 5, 2018<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n And the couple<\/a> just may be in luck, as Martin suggested to Vulture last week that he would like to see open relationships normalized<\/a>.<\/p>\n Said Martin, speaking of playing Versace\u2019s lover Antonio D\u2019Amico: \u201cI want to normalize relationships like this. It\u2019s good for the world; it\u2019s good for me as a gay<\/a> man<\/a> with kids. It\u2019s important that we shed some light on power couples<\/a> like this, even though he was quiet and behind the scenes and he was just there supporting his man<\/a> for 15 years. I also believe there was a level of homophobia going around in his family where he was hiding, even though he says, \u201cMy relationship was very open and free with Gianni.\u201d So I used that as well in front of the camera<\/a>, and for that, I will always be very thankful.\u201d<\/p>\n Martin told Vulture that playing his first scene, where the FBI interrogates D\u2019Amico, was difficult<\/a>: \u201cOne of the toughest scenes that I shot [was] the first, the interrogation when the FBI is investigating Antonio. It was a very excruciating scene for me. I mean, this guy<\/a> was opening every door that was a secret from Gianni\u2019s and Antonio\u2019s relationship. I\u2019m talking about bringing men<\/a> into our lives. I\u2019m talking about bringing escorts. That exposure is very heavy, and it can be extremely uncomfortable for me, for the family, but I\u2019m here doing a job, and the story, once again, needs to be told, for people to see the level of unity between these two. The level of commitment after 15 years. The level of security between them and trust between them is so solid. We want to normalize another kind of reality for open relationships. And that\u2019s what we\u2019re doing. There\u2019s absolutely nothing wrong. We\u2019re just two very self-secure men<\/a> that are completely in love with each other, that trust each other to the maximum level, and here we are. But the scene was very intense and painful. Excruciating.
