Adam Rippon and SNL\u2019s Leslie Jones joined Scott Hamilton in NBC\u2019s Olympics studio last night to provide some commentary on gold medalist Canadians Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir\u2019s free dance.<\/p>\n
Needless to say, the commentary was on fire.<\/p>\n

Over the weekend, Rippon turned down an offer from NBC to work as a correspondent for the remainder of the Olympics, and says he found out about the job offer on Twitter.<\/p>\n
NBC spokesman Greg Hughes\u00a0had made the announcement<\/a>\u00a0to USA Today as if it were a done deal.<\/p>\n
Tweeted Rippon: \u201cI am flattered that NBC wanted me to work as a correspondent for them here in PyeongChang. Doing this would require me to leave Team USA and move out of the Olympic Village. I don\u2019t want to do that so I had to declined the opportunity.\u201d<\/p>\n
He added: \u201cI love being on Team USA and representing our country. My teammates were there for me during my events, and now I NEED to be there for them. I look forward to being with them, and I\u2019m very excited for the rest of the competition. Go Team USA!!!\u201dFinally, he revealed: \u201cI actually found everything out about the offer via twitter HAHA 2018 is wild girl<\/a>\u201d<\/p>\n
