Jack was quick to persuade Pamela to join him on some cycling days out and the rest, as they say, is history.<\/p>\n<p>The pair married a year later and remained dedicated members of the cycling group for years afterwards.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/img.huffingtonpost.com\/asset\/5a7b01b721000038006007c0.jpeg\" data-caption=\"Pam and Jack are still cycling today.\" alt=\"Pam and Jack are still cycling today.\" data-credit=\"Supplied\" data-portal-copyright=\"Supplied\" data-provider=\"Other\" data-provider-asset-id=\"206103074\" data-has-syndication-rights=\"false\"><\/p>\n<p>Cycling has been the subject of many happy memories for the <a title=\"\" class=\"aalmanual\" target=\"_blank\"   href=\"https:\/\/www.flirt4free.com\/live\/girls\/couples\/?mp_code=akftr\">couple<\/a>.\u00a0Jack enjoys the challenges, while Pamela is more interested in the social aspect.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe\u2019s done timetrailling, everything. He\u2019s cycled over 250,000 miles,\u201d says Pamela. \u201cBut for me it\u2019s the social side of it. He\u2019s been racing, I\u2019ve been marshalling and making the cakes and teas. I\u2019ve never been competitive.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The pair now <a title=\"\" class=\"aalmanual\" target=\"_blank\"   href=\"https:\/\/chaturbate.com\/in\/?tour=grq0&#38;campaign=hl4zp&#38;track=gfcsb\">live<\/a> in Ludlow, Shropshire, where they try and keep up their mileage.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI do think it\u2019s been incredibly beneficial; all the cycling we\u2019ve done in the past has definitely paid off now in our general health,\u201d says Pamela. \u201cI\u2019ve heard it said that cyclists appear 10 years younger than someone of a similar age.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Jack cycled Mont Ventoux aged 73, and then went back and did it again at 83. Pamela secretly thinks he\u2019s a bit mad, but also admires his dedication.<\/p>\n<p>On their holidays, they have cycling days together, and then days apart with Pamela exploring the local village while Jack goes on more strenuous rides.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/img.huffingtonpost.com\/asset\/5a7b01fe1e000038007aaf77.jpeg\" data-caption=\"Jack and his daughters cycling in the sixties.\" alt=\"Jack and his daughters cycling in the sixties.\" data-credit=\"Supplied\" data-portal-copyright=\"Supplied\" data-provider=\"Other\" data-provider-asset-id=\"206103077\" data-has-syndication-rights=\"false\"><\/p>\n<p>The <a title=\"\" class=\"aalmanual\" target=\"_blank\"   href=\"https:\/\/www.flirt4free.com\/live\/girls\/couples\/?mp_code=akftr\">couple<\/a> share their love of cycling with their younger family members too.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur two daughters, they had no other option,\u201d Pam says. \u201cWe went through the usual stages of a tandem, a sidecar, seats on the back of bikes.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThen Jack bought a triplet, him on the front, the youngest, Carolyn, in the middle and Susan on the back.
