House Intelligence Committee Chair Devin Nunes (R-CA) is planning to construct a physical wall to separate GOP staffers from Democrats.<\/p>\n
This sounds healthy. CBS News reports<\/a>:<\/p>\n It\u2019s expected to happen this spring.<\/p>\n For now, some Republican committee members deny knowing anything about it, while strongly suggesting the division is the\u00a0brainchild of the committee\u2019s chairman, Devin Nunes, R-California.<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m not part of that decision,\u201d said Rep. Mike Conaway, R-Texas. \u201cYou\u2019ve got to talk to Devin. I don\u2019t know what they\u2019re trying to do one way or the other.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI swear to God I didn\u2019t know that,\u201d said Rep. Tom Rooney, R-Florida, when asked about the plan. While acknowledging a wall might not be constructive for the committee\u2019s work, he said, \u201cThe level of trust and the level of everything down there is \u2013 it\u2019s poison.
