Over the years, we\u2019ve made progress on many fronts. But make no mistake: we must continue to do more.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/nchhstp\/newsroom\/docs\/factsheets\/cdc-hiv-aa-508.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">While a recent Centers for Disease Control and Prevention report shows that education, prevention, and treatment efforts have helped to stem the rate of new HIV diagnoses among Black Americans overall, <\/a>many subgroups in our communities are still disproportionately impacted by HIV. This is especially true for young <a title=\"\" class=\"aalmanual\" target=\"_blank\"   href=\"https:\/\/chaturbate.com\/in\/?tour=R2Xc&#38;campaign=hl4zp&#38;track=gfcsb\">men<\/a> who have <a title=\"\" class=\"aalmanual\" target=\"_blank\"   href=\"https:\/\/www.flirt4free.com\/live\/girls\/couples\/?mp_code=akftr\">sex<\/a> with <a title=\"\" class=\"aalmanual\" target=\"_blank\"   href=\"https:\/\/chaturbate.com\/in\/?tour=R2Xc&#38;campaign=hl4zp&#38;track=gfcsb\">men<\/a> (MSM), who account for more new diagnoses than any other group. Black straight <a title=\"\" class=\"aalmanual\" target=\"_blank\"   href=\"https:\/\/www.flirt4free.com\/live\/girls\/?mp_code=akftr\">women<\/a> continue to be affected by HIV more than <a title=\"\" class=\"aalmanual\" target=\"_blank\"   href=\"https:\/\/www.flirt4free.com\/live\/girls\/?mp_code=akftr\">women<\/a> of any other race or ethnicity.<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/hiv\/group\/gender\/transgender\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\"> Moreover, members of Black transgender communities also remain especially vulnerable. <\/a><\/p>\n<p>This fight is far from over and organizations like HRC and Impulse Group DC are committed to supporting new strategies to help win it. These efforts must center Black bodies, recognize and protect our humanity, respect our authority and autonomy, and target the impact of stigma.<\/p>\n<p>This includes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Investing in <a href=\"http:\/\/naesm.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/2018_Booklet_Proof-1.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">Black-lead initiatives<\/a> and advocacy within this movement<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/impulsegrp.org\/washington\/\" target=\"_blank\">Creating positive spaces for organic and constructive conversations about HIV prevention and treatment;<\/a> and<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hrc.org\/resources\/2017-hiv-360-fellows\" target=\"_blank\">Amplifying Black voices and leadership in LGBTQ and HIV spaces <\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This NBHAAD, join us as we look back on where we have been and look forward to where we, as a movement, need to go. Let\u2019s reflect. Let\u2019s act. Stay the course, the fight is not over.<\/p>\n<p><a
