The Boston Gay Men\u2019s Chorus has made a musical Super Bowl<\/a> wager with the Philadelphia Gay Men\u2019s Chorus.<\/p>\n

According to a press release from BGMC: \u201cIf the New England Patriots defeat the Philadelphia Eagles in the Feb. 4 Super Bowl in Minneapolis, the Philadelphia Chorus will perform \u2018Please Come to Boston\u2019 by Dave Loggins for the BGMC YouTube Channel. If the Eagles are victorious, BGMC will perform \u2018Philadelphia Freedom\u2019 and make it available online.<\/p>\n

Said\u00a0BGMC Executive Director Craig Coogan: \u201cThis is a friendly wager, but we\u2019re taking it seriously. The Philadelphia Gay Men\u2019s Chorus is a talented ensemble, but our football team is better than theirs.\u201d<\/p>\n

Replied Joseph Buches, Artistic Director of The Philadelphia Men\u2019s Chorus: \u201cWe were delighted to accept this challenge from the Boston Gay Men\u2019s Chorus. Nick Foles is young and healthy, unlike New England\u2019s quarterback, whose name escapes me. We\u2019re confident that we\u2019ll emerge the winner of this contest.\u201d<\/p>\n

The New England Patriots face the Philadelphia Eagles<\/a> in this year\u2019s Super Bowl, which takes place this Sunday, February 4, in Minneapolis.<\/p>\n
