Anderson Cooper put Donald Trump on his Ridiculist for his obviously false statement that the press sent him letters praising him for his DACA meeting with congressional leaders.<\/p>\n
Trump claimed that his meeting got \u201cgreat reviews\u201d from everyone other than two networks who were \u201cphenomenal for about two hours\u201d but \u201cafter that they were called by their bosses\u201d and \u201cwent south on us.\u201d<\/p>\n
Added Trump: \u201cUnfortunately a lot of those anchors sent us letters saying that was one of the greatest meetings they\u2019d ever witnessed\u2026They probably wished they didn\u2019t send us those letters of congratulations.\u201d<\/p>\n
Said Anderson: \u201cMajor kudos to the US Postal Service for delivering those letters so fast\u2026.Quick question though:\u00a0Who are these anchors who wrote letters congratulating the president on one of the greatest meetings they\u2019ve ever witnessed, which is a highly believable, totally normal thing that would absolutely happen?\u201d<\/p>\n
Anderson said that when he wants to send the president a note of congratulations he usually does it with a giant cookie or an edible arrangement.<\/p>\n
