Golden Globes 2018 Fashion: Claire Foy’s Suit Set Twitter Alight<\/b>
\nClaire Foy\u2019s entrance on the\u00a0\u00a0Golden Globes\u2019\u00a0red carpet\u00a0was accompanied by an outpouring of emotion on Twitter, as fans could not get enough of her Stella McCartney trouser suit.<\/p>\n

Foy was accompanied by her \u2018The Crown\u2019 co-star Matt Smith at the 75th annual awards ceremony on Sunday 7 January.<\/p>\n

She dressed head-to-toe in black, in keeping with the Time\u2019s Up protest, sporting a double breasted blazer and wide-leg trousers, which flared out to cover her shoes.<\/p>\n

Eagle-eyed fans were also pleased to see she accessorised her look with a badge on her sleeve that says \u201cActresses Equal Representation\u201d and \u201c50:50.\u201d<\/p>\n

\nPerhaps Foy was paying tribute to Jane Fonda – one of the first women<\/a> to wear a plain black, off-the-rack suit (Yves Saint Laurent) to the Oscars in 1972, according to Vogue.<\/p>\n

\u201cI felt it suited the somber times,\u201d Fonda once said of the outfit.<\/p>\n
