Talk continues to build that Trump is getting frustrated by the ongoing investigation into his campaign\u2019s collusion with Russia and will fire special counsel Robert Mueller.<\/p>\n
Rep. Jackie Speier says the rumor on Capitol Hill is that Trump will do so at the end of next week when Congress has left D.C. for break.<\/p>\n

The Hill reports<\/a>:<\/p>\n The New York Times reported Friday that the committee is scheduling its final witnesses of the year to testify in New York, despite important votes coming up in Washington, D.C., and confirmed no additional witnesses are scheduled yet in 2018.<\/p>\n \u201cWe can read between the lines I think,\u201d Speier said. \u201cI believe this president wants all of this shut down. He wants to shut down these investigations, and he wants to fire special counsel Mueller.\u201d<\/p>\n The ranking Democrat on the committee, Rep.\u00a0Adam Schiff<\/a><\/span>\u00a0(Calif.), also said\u00a0Friday that he is worried\u00a0that Republicans\u00a0leading the committee are\u00a0seeking to shut down\u00a0the committee\u2019s investigation<\/a>\u00a0by the end of the year.<\/p>\n Watch Schiff speak to CNN:<\/p>\n<\/p>\n The post Rep.
