A pregnant Alabama<\/a> woman<\/a> has refused to go ahead with a maternity shoot after she discovered the photographer is gay<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The woman<\/a> \u2013 identified as McKenna \u2013 canceled the session after she noticed a pride flag on 21-year-old Faith Grace\u2019s (above) Instagram account.<\/span><\/p>\n

Wow! I’m staggered that there are people out there who are still this narrow minded and bigoted! I feel sorry for her son. Imagine growing up with a parent who thinks this view is acceptable.<\/p>\n

\u201cHi Faith! This is McKenna from last night. I was reaching out to you about maternity photos.\u00a0<\/span>I went through your personal Instagram account to get your photography business account and on your personal page I saw that you had a pride flag.\u00a0<\/span>Are you gay<\/a> or do you have family that\u2019s gay<\/a>?\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

When Faith confirmed that she is gay<\/a>, McKenna replied:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI see, OK, well don\u2019t worry about the photos then. I don\u2019t want someone who\u2019s gay<\/a> to take my pictures.\u00a0<\/span>It\u2019s just not right.\u00a0<\/span>I\u2019m against it and the last thing I need is to allow my 5 year old child to think that being gay<\/a> is OK\/right because I don\u2019t want them to be influenced by people like you.\u00a0<\/span>I\u2019m sorry that you think this lifestyle is OKAY and acceptable. Take care, Faith.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Faith shared the exchange on Twitter, asking followers to \u201cRT & share this to show people that hatred & discrimination still exists & it NEEDS to stop.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
