The 31-year-old mum<\/a> got her 18-month-old daughter<\/a>\u00a0Luna to announce the pregnancy news in a sweet Instagram video<\/a> on Tuesday 21 November.<\/p>\n

The clip showed Teigen pointing to her belly and asking her daughter: \u201cWhat\u2019s in here?\u201d<\/p>\n

Luna replied to the camera<\/a>: \u201cBaby!\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

Teigen comically captioned the video<\/a>: \u201cIt\u2019s John\u2019s!\u201d<\/p>\n

The baby news may not come as much of a surprise to fans, as the model announced back in October 2017<\/a> that she and Legend were soon going to try for a second child.<\/p>\n

The couple<\/a> conceived their first child via IVF and Teigen gave birth to Luna in April 2016.<\/p>\n

She revealed on Twitter<\/a> in January 2017 that she had one frozen embryo left, and that their second child would be a boy<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The couple<\/a> caused controversy in February 2016 when Teigen revealed she selected the gender of her first child<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve made this decision,\u201d Teigen told People magazine at the time.<\/p>\n

\u201cNot only am I having a girl<\/a>, but I picked the girl<\/a> from her little embryo. I picked her and was like, \u2018Let\u2019s put in the girl<\/a>.\u2019\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

When announcing her first pregnancy in October 2015<\/a>, Teigen said she had been trying for a baby for a while.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt hasn\u2019t been easy,\u201d she wrote on Instagram at the time.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut we kept trying because we can\u2019t wait to bring our first child into the world and grow our family. We\u2019re so excited that it\u2019s finally happening.\u201d<\/p>\n
