Digital influencer, model, and advocate Gigi Gorgeous went with GLAAD\u00a0to take a stand against LGBTQ+ bullying! The transgender YouTube star, subject of the 2017 documentary “This Is Everything” and recent social correspondent for MTV’s Total Request Live <\/em>revival, took the pledge\u00a0and encouraged others to do so as well during her takeover of GLAAD’s Instagram story yesterday:<\/p>\n

Gigi also kicked of Spirit Day by attending Justin Tranter and GLAAD’s “Believe” concert in Los Angeles the night before the world’s largest anti-bullying campaign launched this year:<\/p>\n

Each year, millions go purple for GLAAD\u2019s Spirit Day to support LGBTQ youth in a united stand against bullying. Started in 2010 by high school student Brittany McMillan in response to numerous young LGBTQ lives lost to suicide, Spirit Day now draws the participation of celebrities, schools, faith institutions, national landmarks, corporations, media outlets, sports leagues, and advocates around the world, all joining together to stand against bullying and support LGBTQ youth.<\/p>\n

As anti-LGBTQ policies, hate crimes, and harassment are on the rise, it is now especially important to let all marginalized youth know they are supported.<\/p>\n
