San Juan, Puerto Rico mayor Carmen Yulin Cruz reacted on Saturday to Donald Trump\u2019s insults<\/a>, telling MSNBC she didn\u2019t have time for \u201cpetty comments\u201d and would do what she needed to get relief to the area.<\/p>\n Trump claimed that Cruz \u201cwas told by the Democrats that you must be nasty to Trump\u201d<\/a> and said the mayor had \u201cpoor leadership ability.\u201d<\/p>\n Cruz was asked about the remarks.<\/p>\n She replied:<\/p>\n \u201cActually, I was asking for help. I wasn\u2019t saying anything nasty about the president\u2026We have one goal \u2013 to save lives. This is a time when everyone shows their true colors. I have no time for distractions.
