John Oliver Weighs in on Trump\u2019s Attacks on the NFL: WATCH<\/b><\/p>\n

John Oliver weighed in on Trump\u2019s hateful reaction to protests of racial discrimination by black players and allies in the NFL, following remarks by the president over the weekend.<\/p>\n

Said Trump, referring to Colin Kaepernick and others:\u00a0\u201cWouldn\u2019t you love to see one of these NFL owners, when somebody disrespects our flag, to say, \u2018Get that son of a bitch off the field right now. Out. He\u2019s fired. He\u2019s fired!’\u201d<\/p>\n

Said Oliver: \u201cKaepernick\u2019s own mother, incidentally, magnificently responding, \u2018I guess that makes me a proud bitch.’\u201d<\/p>\n

Oliver also added that Trump has really hit rock bottom on this:<\/p>\n

\u201cEven NFL commissioner Roger Goodell denounced the president\u2019s comments. And when you have lost the moral f**king high ground to Roger Goodell, something is horribly wrong.\u201d<\/p>\n
